About us

Small, sincere,and close tothe ground

We are a Karachi foundation working across the city and rural Sindh, run by the same people who carry out the distributions.

Our story

Formed to reach the places aid forgets

Al Nasih Foundation was established in December 2024 by a group of scholars and volunteers in Karachi who kept meeting the same problem: the families in greatest need were the ones furthest from any organisation able to help them.

We began with ration distribution and a single water project in Tharparkar. Since then the work has grown into four areas, all chosen on the same principle: help that keeps paying back long after we have gone.

We are small, and we do the fieldwork ourselves. Nothing is subcontracted. Every distribution listed on this site was carried out by the people whose photographs appear below.

What guides us

Four commitments

These are the rules we hold ourselves to, and the ones you can hold us to.

01

Sincerity before scale

We would rather help forty families properly than four hundred badly. Growth follows capacity, not ambition.

02

Assets, not handouts

Wherever possible we give something that generates income or removes a recurring cost: a rickshaw, a water point, a set of tools.

03

Open books

Our accounts are independently audited and published in full on this site. Anyone may read them, line by line.

04

Dignity in delivery

Aid is handed over with respect, without spectacle, and without asking families to perform their poverty for a camera.

Our team

The people behind it

A small team that does the fieldwork itself.
