Help that reaches the last village

Al Nasih Foundation works in Karachi and across rural Sindh on education, health, food and livelihoods, so that families are supported long after the relief truck has left.

Our mission

Al Nasih Foundation, helping the underprivileged

Every act of goodness is charity, sadaqah. Saying of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

As part of the broader nonprofit sector, which includes charities, foundations, and social welfare organizations, we are committed to addressing the needs of underserved communities. Our work focuses on education, healthcare, and sustainable development, with the goal of empowering individuals and fostering long-term growth within these communities.

What we do

Four areas of work

Each one chosen because it changes what a family can do next year, not only this week.

Education

School kits, community learning programmes and awareness campaigns in remote and underprivileged areas.

Health

Access to basic treatment and clean water for communities with no nearby facility.

Food

Ration distribution for families in need, and seasonal support during Ramadan and winter.

Livelihoods

Assets that generate income, so support becomes independence rather than a repeat visit.

Project Noor, powered by Al Nasih Foundation
Project Noor

Assets, not handouts

Project Noor puts working assets into the hands of struggling families. Rickshaws that turn into a daily income. Warm jackets before the Thar winter. Eid gifts for children who would otherwise go without.

It answers one question: what would still be helping this family six months from now?
