Volunteer

Give a day,not a form

We do the fieldwork ourselves, so our capacity is simply the number of people willing to help carry it.

Why it matters

A small team goes further with help

We do the fieldwork ourselves, which keeps costs down and accountability high, but it also means our capacity is the number of people willing to give a day.

You do not need experience, a vehicle, or a particular background. You need to turn up when you said you would.

Ways to help

Four things we always need

01

Distribution days

Loading, travelling, handing over and recording. Usually a single day, occasionally a weekend in Tharparkar.

02

Surveying families

Visiting households before a campaign to verify need. Requires patience and discretion more than anything else.

03

Skills we lack

Photography, accounting, design, translation, logistics. A few hours of a professional’s time is worth a great deal to us.

04

Telling people

Sharing a campaign with your own circle reaches donors we never could. It costs nothing and it works.

How it works

Three steps, no forms

We keep this deliberately simple. Message us and a person replies.

  1. 1

    Message us on WhatsApp

Tell us your name, roughly where you are in Karachi, and what you could help with.

  2. 2

    We call you

A short conversation so we understand what you are offering and you understand what is involved.

  3. 3

    You join a campaign

We add you to the group for the next campaign that fits. No commitment beyond the day you agree to.

Ready when you are

One message is enough to start. We reply to every one.
